“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
“Stop judging and you will not be judged.
Stop condemning and you will not be condemned.
Forgive and you will be forgiven.
Give and gifts will be given to you;
a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing,
will be poured into your lap.
For the measure with which you measure
will in return be measured out to you.”
The passage invites us to be merciful to others and not be judgmental, to stop condemning other and start to forgive. Maybe if you stop condemning and start loving, you will start to also see the goodness of that person. Jesus is full of love and he invites us to love just as he love too. (not to the drastic extend of dying on the cross... but if circumstances calls for, I would.) Kindness and Love was what the apostles possess and it was by this that they were able to forgive, love and continue loving.
